Life performance at Palo Alto, Barcelona

The shape of a circle was used to work around the idea of protected spaces. Using it as a gird reference, the performance was a live act between the artists Alba G. Corral and Julia Mariscal. The circle is a shape that appears as a symbol of self-defense; the circle is the shape that the warrior draws using his weapon, around himself. Draws a direct relation with the body. The length of the arm + the weapon will define the diameter of the circumference. Alba G.Corral presented the live visuals using processing. Julia Mariscal peformed on the floor space producing the sound by using a combination of microphones attached to different materials and hacked circuits by Ricard Sola. watch video
